Polar Seafood’s Supplier Code of Conduct sets out requirements for relevant suppliers across labour rights, health and safety, environmental matters and business ethics.
It prohibits forced labour and child labour and includes requirements concerning wages and working hours, freedom of association, non-discrimination, safe and healthy working conditions, compliance with applicable environmental legislation and the prevention of bribery.
Relevant suppliers are expected to communicate these requirements within their organisation and, where applicable, to subcontractors involved in supplying Polar Seafood.
