Our approach includes:

• identifying and assessing relevant risks to people;

• seeking to avoid causing or contributing to adverse human rights impacts;

• addressing identified impacts and, where appropriate, providing or cooperating in remediation;

• communicating expectations to relevant suppliers and business partners through our Code of Conduct;

• using our influence where appropriate to encourage responsible conduct; 
  

• enabling concerns to be raised through the reporting channels available in the relevant part of the Group.

Reports are handled in accordance with applicable procedures and legislation, with due consideration for confidentiality and the rights of the people concerned.

Relevant management functions are responsible for implementing the policy and following up on identified risks and concerns.
